Christmas and New Years are over so it is time to start back to routines with everyday life. One tradition that we do every year in our family is to write thank you cards to those who gave us something for Christmas.

Of course, every year my daughter has to complain and ask why do we have to write thank you cards. I tell her it lets them know that we appreciate that they took time out to think of us and give us a gift.
I believe writing thank you cards also helps us reflect on what good we have in our life.
Thank you cards also lets the person that gave you the gift that you really do appreciate the thought.
Plus, it is always a heartwarming moment to receive a piece of mail that is happy.
