This landscape painting made me pause and wonder is it possible to have brown next to green trees. Yes, it is possible because this picture is experiencing a drought. Thankfully it is about to rain looking at the clouds.
This painting was fun to make because you can see this is the first time I have used a different “stitch” to sew the picture together.
The painting is done in Windsor Newton watercolors and the “stitching” is drawn with a Micron pen.
