Pink Flowers from Denver Botanical Gardens

Recently I had a chance to visit the Denver Botanical Gardens at York Street. If you have not gone to this botanical garden, I would recommend it! This place is huge!

I enjoyed walking around the various parts and seeing the different styles of gardens. I am sure I missed some parts of the garden. One of my favorite parts was seeing the flowers in bloom.

One flower that I was drawn to was this pink and purple flower that looked like a poppy. I loved the color combinations together.

Of course, I had to draw the flower in my sketchbook. I took a photo for a reference and drew the flower at home later on.

I used Derwent Chromaflow color pencils to recreate the flowers.
